Courmayeur’s ski area offers a bit of everything for strong skiers and riders – and with conditions permitting, there’s even the option to explore nearby resorts or tackle the famed Vallée Blanche off-piste descent for the ultimate adventure.

    2. Italian Culture & Après

Immerse yourself in la dolce vita each evening. Courmayeur’s village is a warren of narrow cobbled streets lined with boutique shops, cafés and wine bars, giving it old-world charm. After skiing, join the locals in the aperitivo tradition with an aperol spritz or espresso, then savor authentic Aosta Valley cuisine at dinner (fresh pastas, local cheeses, hearty polenta dishes and more). It’s a vibrant après-ski scene centered on great food, wine and good company in true Italian fashion.

You’ll be led by a uniquely qualified guide who is both an Extremely Canadian ski coach and a certified yoga instructor. This dual expertise means you get top-notch coaching on the slopes and knowledgeable instruction on the mat. Our guides know the mountains inside-out and will tailor each day’s plan to the group – whether that’s finding the best snow, giving you a pointer to improve your turn technique, or modifying a yoga pose to suit your ability. The result is a seamless, personalized experience in both adventure and wellness.

    4. Daily Yoga & Recovery

Yoga is an integral part of the program – designed to enhance your skiing, not overshadow it. Start each morning with an invigorating flow to wake up your muscles and improve balance before you hit the hill. • 7:00am — Wake up to an energizing Vinyasa yoga session. As the sun rises over the peaks, you’ll flow through stretches and poses that warm up your muscles and center your mind for the day ahead. (About 45 minutes of movement and breathing to start the day right.)

8:00am — Enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast at the hotel. Fresh fruits, local breads and pastries, eggs, yogurt, and Italian espresso give you the fuel you need. Over coffee, chat with your fellow skiers and go over the day’s plans with your guide.

9:00am — Head out for a full day of skiing. You’ll catch the first lifts and spend the morning carving down Courmayeur’s varied terrain. Under the guidance of your coach, explore everything from wide-open groomers to tight couloirs). The views of Mont Blanc and the surrounding Alps are absolutely awe-inspiring as you ski.

12:30pm — Break for lunch at a charming rifugio (mountain hut) or slope-side restaurant. Savor authentic Italian dishes – perhaps a plate of fresh pasta, creamy polenta with local cheese, or a hearty bowl of minestrone soup. This is a time to rest, refuel, and enjoy the ambiance: a crackling fire, stunning alpine vistas, and the camaraderie of the group.

1:30pm — With renewed energy, continue skiing into the afternoon. You might seek out new challenges or revisit your favorite runs from the morning. Yoga’s benefits become evident as you remain balanced and focused even when legs get tired. The guide will keep things fun and appropriate to the group’s energy – maybe a few more coaching tips or take some video for the memories (and to learn from). As the lifts start to close (around 4:00 PM), make your last run down and bid farewell to the mountain until tomorrow.

4:00pm — Back in the village, it’s time to unwind. Some days you might stop at a cozy café or bar in town for a classic après-ski drink – an Aperol Spritz, a glass of vino, or a rich hot chocolate topped with whipped cream. Or, you might stroll the pedestrian streets for a bit of shopping (Courmayeur has lovely boutiques and specialty food shops). If you prefer, you can head straight to the hotel to kick off your ski boots and perhaps take a power nap. This late-afternoon window is your free time to relax and enjoy Courmayeur’s atmosphere.

6:00pm — After some apres, take advantage of the hotel’s spa facilities. Swap stories from the day as you soak in the hot tub, or enjoy a few minutes in the sauna to detoxify and warm your core. You might grab a cool drink or tea and put your feet up in the relaxation lounge. This is your time to fully unwind – a little slice of luxury for your body and soul. (If you’ve booked a professional massage or treatment, it would typically be scheduled around this time as well.)

7:30pm — Each night, look forward to a fantastic dinner experience. Our group will venture to one of Courmayeur’s many excellent restaurants (or occasionally dine in the hotel’s own restaurant) to indulge in the local cuisine. Picture a table full of pizzas, pastas, grilled meats, seasonal vegetables, and of course wonderful Italian wine to toast the day. The atmosphere is festive and relaxed – by now, lively conversations and laughter fill the air as you recount the day’s epic runs and memorable moments.
