Las Lenas offers more lift-serviced terrain than any other ski area in the Western Hemisphere, along with unsurpassed views of the magnificent Andes… it’s something you have to see for yourself.

And if you have some extra energy to burn or enjoy too many siestas, the Argentinean's nocturnal culture will yield an amazing experience. The base facilities are of an international level with 13 hotels, 10 diverse restaurants, bars, a casino, a shopping centre and a complete infrastructure to serve its multinational clientele.

Ability Level:

Extremely Canadian is geared towards adventurous advanced-intermediate to expert skiers. If you can ski an un-groomed “Black Diamond” run at your home hill, then you belong with us! Skiers are placed in small groups of similar ability, combined with a serious amount of vertical,  guaranteed improvement, tired legs, make for an unforgettable ski experience.

Late Arrival or Departures

Extremely Canadian cannot accept responsibility for travellers inconvenienced by late, diverted, delayed, cancelled, or rescheduled travel arrangements. This also applies to missed connections or transfers. We intend to continue with the trip as scheduled. If you arrive within the trip dates, we will connect you with the group and continue the trip as planned.

Belongings, baggage & Documents

All personal belongings, baggage, and documents remain at all times and in all circumstances the owners’ responsibility.

Weather Conditions

Adventure travel involves risk and unpredictable weather conditions. Extremely Canadian does not purport to any guarantee of conditions.

Group Dynamics

Trip ratios are max 4:2. We endeavour to have a tight match of ability and inclination to provide tons of vertical and mileage while moving quickly and safely through terrain appropriate for the group.

Sharing the vibe is awesome, but those secret stashes we work so hard to find? We'd like to keep them, well... secret.  Feel free to tag the country we’re in, but please keep the details vague.

Travellers VS Travelers

Although we based in North America, we are Canadian and reserve the right to spell traveller with two ll.’s, eh?

Pass Holders

If you have an Epic Pass or Ikon Pass you are potentially eligible for tickets at certain resorts. When booking, please let us know the type of pass you have so, we can plan accordingly.

Payment and Confirmation

A $2,000 deposit is due upon booking. You will receive an invoice through Quickbooks. Final payment is due 90 days out and will be charged to the card on file. For bookings made within 90 days of departure, full payment is due upon booking. You will be sent a confirmation of your booking by email. Payments can be made by cash, money order, bank transfer, Visa, Diners, Mastercard or American Express.

Refunds

No refunds will be issued on whole or partially unused portions of packages. No refunds will be issued if cancelling within 90 days of departure.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing to Extremely Canadian by mail or email and are not considered canceled until acknowledged by return mail, email or fax by Extremely Canadian. Cancellations made outside of 90 days to departure will forfeit the deposit. Cancellations made 90 days or less to departure will result in forfeiture of the full amount. We highly suggest that you purchase trip cancellation insurance to avoid penalties related to a change in plans.

Changes

A change of trip or dates is considered a cancellation and a re-booking, therefore cancellation fees apply. You can only make changes to trips within the same calendar year.

Taxes & Currency

All Canadian trips are subject to 5% GST. All rates are quoted in Canadian currency.

Special Notes

In rare instances, we may ask a traveller to switch from a trip that has too few participants. If this happens we will attempt to notify you 90 days prior to the departure date. However, we reserve the right to cancel any trip, for any reason, at any time prior to departure. In such a case, refund of any payments received shall constitute full settlement. Travellers are expected to behave in an orderly fashion and not to disrupt the enjoyment of other travellers or in anyway harm the reputation of Extremely Canadian or its suppliers. Extremely Canadian reserves the right to decline accepting or retaining any traveller whose health or actions impede the operation of a trip or the welfare or enjoyment of fellow travellers. Extremely Canadian reserves the right to change the price of a trip due to an unexpected, major increase in costs. Such as a change in foreign exchange rates or taxes. Extremely Canadian tries to avoid making any alterations to its described trips. However, we reserve the right to do so. If a significant alteration has been made we will notify you as soon as possible. Waiver

You will be required to sign an electronic waiver prior to making a deposit for the trip.   A paper copy of the same waiver and release of liability will also need to be signed prior to your first day on the mountain.

Preparing for your Trip

Extremely Canadian trips entail risks and rewards. Trips can be physically demanding. We often visit areas that are considered remote and are distant from medical facilitates, making evacuation difficult. Clients are responsible for the provision of all necessary valid documents such as passports, visas, health requirements and drivers licenses. Extremely Canadian’s role is to provide a great holiday experience. In return, we require that you are healthy, fit and up for an interesting, unpredictable and rewarding experience. Please ensure you have checked that your passport is in good order with manageable expiry dates and pages available for stamps, etc. Please check with your airline(s) with regard to details about carry-ons and luggage. Please also check on recommended check in times.

Medical Insurance & History

You must supply proof of traveller’s hospital and medical insurance to supplement your existing health insurance to ensure that you are adequately covered for any eventuality. If you do not provide us with these details, and there is an emergency where you are not coherent or able to communicate for any reason, we will provide the care facility or organization with your credit card details to ensure you receive the best care possible. Please ensure you have fill out the medical information in the following page, this will help us in case of any emergency. All information is completely confidential and will only be used to assist in your care in case of an emergency.

Insurance & Coverage

We do not require proof of trip cancellation or interruption insurance coverage; however, we strongly recommend that you obtain appropriate coverage to protect against unforeseen circumstances. Purchasing trip cancellation and interruption insurance can help avoid penalties or financial loss resultingfrom changes to your travel plans. Before travelling, we also recommend that you review your personal and health insurance policies to ensure you, your family, and your dependants have adequate coverage in the event of property loss, illness, injury, or death.
