Our signature 2-Day Steep Skiing Clinic—designed for the next generation of rippers.
Under the guidance of our expert coaches, teens will tackle Whistler Blackcomb’s most legendary steeps. Over two action-packed days, they’ll hone technical skills, master steep skiing tactics, and soak up insider local knowledge.

Beyond the turns, they’ll gain the judgment and confidence to make smart decisions in the mountains—all while having an absolute blast. With 30 years of local freeskiing expertise packed into two unforgettable days, this is the fast track to becoming a stronger, safer, and more adventurous skier.

All participants will be required to sign a waiver for each adventure; please review the document thoroughly prior to signing.

Ability Level:

The Teen 2-Day Steep Skiing Clinic is for people aged 13-18 years old. Extremely Canadian is geared towards adventurous advanced-intermediate to expert skiers. If you can ski an un-groomed “Black Diamond” run at your home hill, then you belong with us! Skiers are placed in small groups of similar ability, combined with a serious amount of vertical,  guaranteed improvement, and tired legs, make for an unforgettable ski experience. This program does not mix skiers and snowboarders; we are able to accommodate in our Private Steeps Clinics.

What you need to know before embarking on your day.

Meeting time and Place

Meeting time and place is 8:15 AM on the deck of the Carleton Lodge in the main village between the gondolas. If you prefer a different meeting time or place, please advise and we will do our best to accommodate.

Late Arrival or Departures

Extremely Canadian cannot accept responsibility for travellers inconvenienced by late, diverted, delayed, cancelled, or rescheduled travel arrangements. This also applies to missed connections or transfers. We intend to leave the Carleton Patio for 8:30 AM, there will be a 15 min grace period where we will wait and connect you to the group. If you arrive outside the 15mins, we are not responsible for connecting you to the group or providing a refund/reschedule.

Weather Conditions

Adventure travel involves risk and unpredictable weather conditions. Extremely Canadian does not purport to any guarantee of conditions.

Group Dynamics

We worry less about exact ratios but we endeavour to have a tight match of ability and inclination to provide tons of vertical and mileage while moving quickly and safely through terrain appropriate for the group. Ratios can be between 1:6 but are usually closer to 1:3. If we don’t have a group for you we will work to find another program that matches your ability or provide a full refund.

Payment and Confirmation

All rates are quoted in Canadian currency and are subject to taxes. Full payment is due upon booking. Confirmation is made by email.

Refunds

No refunds will be issued on whole or partially unused portions of packages. No refunds will be issued on day of lesson (medical reasons with a doctor’s note may be an exception).

Rescheduling

In rare instances, we may ask a guest to switch from a clinic or camp that has too few participants. If this happens we will attempt to notify you 24 hours prior to the date. However, we reserve the right to cancel any clinics or camps, for any reason, at any time prior to start. In such a case, refund of any payments received shall constitute full settlement.

Cancellation Policy

We totally understand if your plans change! Here's the scoop on all our inbounds activities cancellation policy.

You will receive a 100% refund or you can reschedule your adventure date up to 48 hrs prior to your activity date. All modification requests must be made within Extremely Canadian’s operating hours by email or phone at least 2 full days prior to your activity date. If you have to cancel within 48h of your activity, we will issue a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued if you have to cancel on the morning of your activity date. A change of dates is considered a cancellation and a re-booking; therefore, cancellation policies apply. Please note that once alterations have been made to your original course dates, refunds will not be allowed.If you are cancelling your activity due to illness/injury within 48hrs, you may be required to present medical documentation to complete the refund.

Insurance

We do not request proof of insurance coverage, but please ensure that you have appropriate coverage to ensure that you are adequately covered for any eventuality. We highly suggest that you purchase trip cancellation insurance to avoid penalties related to a change in plans.

Behaviour Expectations

Guests are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and responsibly, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants and staff. Any behavior that is disruptive, aggressive, or disrespectful toward fellow guests, guides, or staff will not be tolerated. Extremely Canadian reserves the right to deny participation or remove any guest whose actions compromise the safety, well-being, or enjoyment of others, or who negatively impacts the reputation of Extremely Canadian or its partners. No refunds will be provided in such cases.

Underage Participants

Teen Steep Skiing Clinic is for people aged 13-18 years old. All clients 18 & under must sign the safety voucher and wear a helmet.

Waiver

You will be required to sign a waiver and release of liability before your first day on the mountain. Below is a copy of the waiver for your review.
