Vincent Genannt

Originally from Germany’s Black Forest, Vincent has spent the last 12 years calling Whistler home, chasing powder across the Coast Mountains. With stints in iconic mountain towns like Mayrhofen (Austria), Wanaka (NZ), and Niseko (Japan), he brings a true globe-trotter’s depth of experience to Extremely Canadian. Since joining the team in 2022, Vincent has specialized in guiding backcountry adventures, blending his ACMG Apprentice Ski Guide certification and CAA Ops Level 2 training with an easygoing, adventurous spirit. His favorite days? Bluebird mornings in the Blackcomb backcountry with 30 cm of fresh snow—pure magic.

From heli-drops on Mt. Currie to cowboy-themed après antics, Vincent has built a career (and a lifestyle) around unforgettable mountain experiences. When he’s not skiing, you’ll find him biking, surfing, or rafting—and yes, riding a snowboard goofy while skating regular. For Vincent, guiding is about more than just snowboarding/skiing—it’s about sharing local knowledge, skipping lift lines, and giving guests a true insider’s experience of Whistler Blackcomb.
