Jake Doyle
With nearly a decade exploring every nook of the Sea to Sky, Jake Doyle brings a calm, confident energy to the mountains—and the kind of quiet leadership that makes even the biggest terrain feel approachable. Jake spent nine years living in Whistler and has put down roots in Squamish over the last four years; Jake is as comfortable in the alpine as he is hanging off a granite face.
Originally from Richmond, BC, Jake cut his teeth at Grouse Mountain before levelling up in Whistler. He joined Extremely Canadian in 2018 and brings with him both technical expertise and a love for the mountains that’s downright contagious. A graduate of the Thompson Rivers University Adventure Guide Diploma program and an ACMG Apprentice Rock Guide, Jake’s credentials run deep, but his focus is always on experience.
His idea of a perfect day? Bluebird skies, a fresh overnight dump, and peak chair laps from bell to bell. (Bonus points if you’re trying to keep up.)
Off the snow, Jake is likely tearing down a mountain bike trail or scaling cliffs around Squamish, always looking for the next adventure. He’s the kind of guide who’ll find you the goods, keep things fun, and make sure you walk away with more confidence than you came in with.
From cat skiing with his dad at 16 to helping others create unforgettable mountain moments of their own—Jake’s just the kind of guy you want to follow into the alpine.
