Jake Boling
Born and raised in Adelaide, Australia, Jake Boling’s snowboarding journey started at the ripe age of four in Falls Creek—but it really took off at seven, when he ditched the skis to follow in the tracks of his mum, who he thought was the coolest snowboarder on the mountain. That early inspiration turned into a lifelong obsession, one that’s taken him from Aussie groomers to the big terrain of Whistler Blackcomb.
Jake’s career is all about pushing boundaries—his own and those of the riders he coaches. By 21, he was already training snowboard instructors at Whistler Blackcomb. By 26, he’d earned his CASI Level 4. These days, whether he’s on a board or skis, he’s helping riders drop cliffs, charge steeps, and unlock terrain they never thought was within reach.
When the snow melts, Jake trades his snowboard for a mountain bike, chasing the same lines of gravity on dirt that he does on snow. He’s a year-round mountain mover; he can conquer Whistler Blackcomb’s biggest lines and gnarliest bike trails.
Jake was there at the ground level when the snowboard side of Extremely Canadian first came to life. For him, it’s all about sharing the stoke, building confidence, and ripping through Whistler’s gnarliest zones with like-minded riders. One of his all-time best days? A 30cm bluebird storm-cycle lap-fest on Peak Chair—on the last day of the season. The stuff of legends.
If you’re looking for a coach who knows the terrain, lives the lifestyle, and genuinely loves helping people ride harder, smarter, and with more style than ever before—Jake’s your guy.
