A message for guests with bookings with Extremely Canadian for this season:
We are working with each guest to find the best solution for their booking. We have closed our offices and sent everyone home. We are available by email and phone. We are taking our civic responsibility of social distancing seriously as we hope it help us get back to normal as quickly as possible.
At this time we don’t have access to the offices that have the computers with the Whistler Blackcomb booking systems. We are waiting for Whistler Blackcomb to advise if they will be giving us access for a few people or if they are setting up a special office of designated staff to process the refunds.
The closure decision came on very quickly and we sent our team home immediately. We’ve never had a situation like this before, so as you can imagine, Extremely Canadian as well as WB management is working to figure out how to handle this unprecedented situation.
We are keeping a list of all the people that have requested refunds and we will process as quickly as possible.
If you prefer to have a credit for your booking, to be used at your convenience, with no expiry date, we can email that you ASAP.
If you have the benefit of choice, please do chose the credit. It would be of great help to Peter and I. We can handle it without having to send staff into the WB offices, we can make it happen quickly and it will assist with us paying the wages of all the scheduled staff.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. We do hope that the closure of Whistler Blackcomb helps to slow the spread and flatten the curve. Take good care!
