Hokkaido Ski Safari, Japan
$5,550* CDN

Bring your snorkel, water wings, a pair of the fattest skis you can find, and perhaps some XL sweatpants. Skiing is only half the story in Hokkaido. Japan is all about culture with a capital C. Half the fun of a ski holiday here are the amazing experiences to be had sampling this incredible culture. The other half is shredding powder until you can’t take any more.

It snows pretty well every day in Hokkaido and that daily snow is deeper than most resorts get in a week. If you love rolling terrain, widely spaced trees, beautiful landscapes and consistent snowfall day and night then this is the trip for you.

Not to mention you will finish your days in Hirafu Village where the dining experience is ichiban!  Ramen, sushi, takoyaki, okonomiyaki, omo-rice.  These words may not make sense to you, but they will certainly make sense to your taste buds.  It’s not often you can take advantage of such a unique cultural experience while skiing the world’s deepest coldest powder.

On this trip we will be sampling the best of Hokkaido and getting at the powder and working to avoid the crowds.  We will ski Niseko but also day trip to nearby resorts of Kiroro, Moiwa and Rusutsu as well as have a full day of cat skiing for the cherry on top.
