Icelandic adventure.
Hey Ex-Can faithful. I've just returned from scouting a potential new trip and shooting a segment for the upcoming Warren Miller movie Children of Winter. Iceland was the location for this latest adventure.We started in the Westfjords in a little town called Isafjordur. The premise of the trip was to have a "green" experience and to leave little to no footprint behind, carbon or otherwise. We were based on a sailboat called the Aurora and basically cruised the fjords looking for lines, then would ski tour and shred to our hearts content. One extra cool feature was that the sun doesn't set until after 10 PM which makes for some epic days of touring. Lots of great skiing and a truly unforgettable experience.
