It just keeps snowing!!!

The last Saturday and Sunday clinic went off!! Two epic days of blower knee deep snow. Sunday was bluebird with over 20 new cm's of snow. Snow is in the forecast for the week and upcoming clinics look to be some of the most memorable of the season. Get out here and ski with us because who knows when the forecast will look like this again.

Winter is Back!!

The last few days in Whistler have been awesome as mother nature refuses to let spring come around. The March 17th and 18th clinic went off as new snow and blue bird conditions on day 2 proved spring might not be just around the corner! Day 2 on Blackcomb consisted of fresh tracks all the way through 3 o'clock with smiles all around. Snow is in the forecast for the week and tomorrow looks to be another epic day! It may be close to Spring, but you wouldn't be able to tell given the SWEET conditions today!!

Nothing like a day of touring....

Last Wednesday, a few of us EC'ers - Derek Foose, Crystal Rose-Lee, Chad Hendren, Chris Eby & I - all went for a little walking in the backcountry. We went out the glacier and took a run in Usumi. There were only a couple of tracks and the snow was awesome. The sun had punched through the clouds and the temperature was perfect. After celebrating with some lunch (it was so good Chad didn't even want to go it....) we went back out to Disease Ridge and took a run down Ninth Hole. The clouds has rolled in and it was a complete whiteout. But again, the snow was really good and everyone had a good run down.

Conditions in Whistler are excellent again and we have about 30 cms forecasted this week. A series of small storms. Just to keep things fresh.

Turkey Heli Ski



Who would have thought you could Heli Ski in Turkey. About two weeks long time friend and Beer slinging club owner of Champerys Le Craves called and said he had a seat for me. I said what the hell!
He sent me the details and before you know it im in Istanbul partying with 15 heard core skiers from the UK and two X Pats from the US and three Canadians. Team Canada was my self Andy and Mark. It's best if I dont use last names. I never did pull the covers off my bed!

After one night in Istanbul its off to Trabzon on the side of the Black Sea. Two hours latter we are there. After some much needed sleep at the Ayder Hotel the next morning was well truly incredible. With our own Bell 407 to whisk us away we skied 6 out of 6 days no down time. Check it out.
