Turkey Heli Ski
Who would have thought you could Heli Ski in Turkey. About two weeks long time friend and Beer slinging club owner of Champerys Le Craves called and said he had a seat for me. I said what the hell!
He sent me the details and before you know it im in Istanbul partying with 15 heard core skiers from the UK and two X Pats from the US and three Canadians. Team Canada was my self Andy and Mark. It's best if I dont use last names. I never did pull the covers off my bed!
After one night in Istanbul its off to Trabzon on the side of the Black Sea. Two hours latter we are there. After some much needed sleep at the Ayder Hotel the next morning was well truly incredible. With our own Bell 407 to whisk us away we skied 6 out of 6 days no down time. Check it out.
