Nothing like a day of touring....
Last Wednesday, a few of us EC'ers - Derek Foose, Crystal Rose-Lee, Chad Hendren, Chris Eby & I - all went for a little walking in the backcountry. We went out the glacier and took a run in Usumi. There were only a couple of tracks and the snow was awesome. The sun had punched through the clouds and the temperature was perfect. After celebrating with some lunch (it was so good Chad didn't even want to go it....) we went back out to Disease Ridge and took a run down Ninth Hole. The clouds has rolled in and it was a complete whiteout. But again, the snow was really good and everyone had a good run down.Conditions in Whistler are excellent again and we have about 30 cms forecasted this week. A series of small storms. Just to keep things fresh.
