Top Ten List of Why I Love (Lub) Japan
10. The toilets. The musical and heated ones!
9. The onsens. Nothing better than soaking your bones in hot mineral
baths after a good day on the mountain.
8. Tatami mat beds. I LOVE them. My back has never felt so good.
7. The beer. Sapporo beer. One of the oldest in the world. They
have perfected the art.
6. The food. Wow. The Japanese have some awesome food. More than
just sushi.....
5. The single chair. A little alone time to contemplate your next
powder turns.
4. The Apres Bar. New to Niseko. Good times post skiing to share
the tales from your ski day.
3. Hanks. We love hanging out at Hanks. He is the consummate host.
Great home cooked food by one of the best fishermen in Hokkaido.
2. Night skiing. They light up the whole mountain with stadium lights
and your lift pass is valid for 12 hours! Now thats good value!
1. Konayuki. Translation: powder snow! There's nothing like it.
